Dr Morgan’s Credentials

Dr Morgan Photo

I received my Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in the field of allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology. I grew up in Richardson and went to the University of Texas at Austin.

Although it is rare for allergists to see patients in a hospital, this happens from time to time. Staff privileges are at Medical Center of McKinney, Baylor McKinney, and Presbyterian Hospital of Allen, as well as Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where I have teaching responsibilities. On occasion students will rotate through our office.

I have published articles or chapters in major journals and texts. Publications have covered the areas of asthma epidemiology, antihistamines, advanced therapies for hives resistant to standard treatments, new approaches for nasal inflammation not caused by allergies, and drug allergy. Journals in which these publications have appeared include the major allergy journals: the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (including In Practice) and the Annals of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, as well as allergy-related works from other disciplines, such as the Annals of Pharmacotherapy, Advances in Psychosomatic Medicine, the Archives of Dermatology, Dermatitis, and others.

I have been made a fellow (FAAAAI) of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and a fellow (FACAAI) of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. I am a diplomate (board certified) of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. I have been named to the Collin County edition of D Magazine’s top doctors list for allergists over many years.
